AIA National Photography Competition
AIA St. Louis is once again holding its yearly AIA photography competition which is open to all AIA, aAIA, AIAS and actively registered US Architects. Entries must be submitted on a CD with black and white or color images by March 1, 2011. The 14 top images will be on display at the 2011 AIA Convention and will be used in the 2013 AIA Calendar.
New ANSI books
Linda has ordered 20 copies of the new 2009 ANSI A117.1 and should have additional copies after she gives out the pre-ordered copies. It you haven’t pre-ordered and are interested in picking one up, Call Linda at 747-5498. Cost is $40 each which includes a 10% discount to AIA members (tax included).
Licensing Law Comments – 01.14.11
The WA State Board for Architects would like your comments on their preliminary draft of the new licensing law by January 14th, 2011. These changes are a result of updates on RCW 18.08 during the 2010 legislative session. Go to the WA State Board for Architects website to see all the recent updates. Linda will be out of the AIA Office
Linda will be out of town the week of October 25th. Gene will be in to answer messages and fill document orders. You can still email Linda while she is out, including any RSVP’s to upcoming events.
